Peces para la Vida Phase I (Amazon Fish for Life) was implemented by a partnership of three non governmental organization of Bolivia (FAUNAGUA, AGUA SUSTENTABLE) and Canada (World Fisheries Trust).
Peces para la Vida Phase II (Amazon Fish for Food) was implemented by a partnership of six institutions from Bolivia and Canada, collaborating with more than 20 stakeholders and institutions from the fisheries and aquaculture sectors and interacting intensively with Bolivian decisión makers.
The project is supported by the Canadian International Food Security Research Fund (CIFSRF), a program of Canada’s International Development Research Centre (IDRC), undertaken with financial support from the Government of Canada, provided through Global Affairs Canada (GAC).
