Small-scale aquaculture and commercial fishing in the Bolivian Amazon are in full development. This accelerated development is not accompanied by attention to environmental considerations. Within the framework of the PECES LA VIDA project, an evaluation of the environmental impacts of these productive activities on the environment was carried out and mitigation measures for these impacts were proposed.
